Sustainable denim finishing

With over 30 years in the industry, this company specialises in denim washing and dyeing techniques. What sets them apart from other services and convinced us to choose them as our denim production partner is their commitment to sustainable development and the responsible use of natural resources to protect people and the environment. They are also recognised for their high quality standards.

Water conservation

Our partner is committed to reducing the amount of waste it generates and making every effort to ensure that waste is reused, recycled or recovered. This includes reusing water and building a circular water economy.Their commitment to circular water use is demonstrated by the introduction of the innovative 'Eco Wash' production process in 2017. As a result of this new process, they have reduced water consumption by 75%. To monitor their water use, they analyse their actions four times a year to become more sustainable and improve their overall manufacturing quality.

Ecological footprint

To achieve the "wash effect" of denim, our partners offer different options: from bleaching to laser to stone washing, there are different washing methods that can be applied depending on the desired finish. At SANVT, we have chosen stone washing for our denim collection, where enzymes are used to create an abrasion on the garment (worn effect).

Energy efficiency

One of the factory's principles is its commitment to energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption throughout the business. By implementing the 'Eco Wash' processes described above, the need for hot water is reduced, leading to a reduction in the use of pellets and therefore a reduction in CO2 emissions. Other measures are being implemented to demonstrate their commitment to the environment and the ecosystem as a whole.

Certifications and Environmental Stewardship

Holding multiple environmental and quality certifications, this facility upholds the highest standards in sustainable manufacturing, ensuring quality and environmental awareness.

They are not only part of the "Zero Discharge by 2030" programme, but also 85% of the chemical products they work with are GOTS certified chemicals. In total, for all their services and products used, they have GOTS, OCS, RCS and OEKO-TEX Class 1 certifications.
